We have spent over 40 years helping to inspire our staff, members and community to live better. We believe that improving one’s fitness level is a means to an end, not an end in itself. Some time ago my wife and I stood on top of Mount Ballie after a long but enjoyable hike. We were overjoyed by the beauty of the fall foliage lining the landscape of New England. It was there that I was reminded of how important staying fit has been to enjoying our lives to the fullest. Now in our 70s, we continue to wish the same for our staff, members and community. For my 72nd birthday, I went on a night dive with Manta rays. Conditions were choppy but I credit my commitment to health for allowing me to have this amazing experience.
We originally opened as the Old Auburn Court House (OACH) because of my love for racquetball. Even back then I exercised to allow myself to play better (maybe a little vanity as well). We love hearing stories from our members of how living fit has helped fulfill their desires to live better.
It continues to be our mission to be compassionate, friendly, and affordable.
